Alice Cullen Vampire Female (Looks 19 but is 114)
Alice sat on the short acorn tree, her long legs dangling. She was wearing dark brown skinny jeans, shin length high heeled boots and a black top covered by a trendy leather jacket. Her brown hair ruffled slightly in the breeze, but other than that, she was perfect. A stunning, perfect figure sitting stone still in the tree. She sighed, her musical voice clear and girly. Since discovering no other vampire or anyone, she was bored as heck. The beautiful vampire turned her head, sniffing. Her golden eyes flicked up and down and spotted the shape under the tree.

Alakai Kekoha Hybrid Male 13 years
Alakai lay in the grass, underneath the acorn tree, his head in a position in which if his eyes weren't covered, he would be looking up at the sky. His hand held onto the grass, and breathed slowly. Alakai could hardly get out here much, but this is where he went to cool down, or just let his feral nature do its thing. It sucked being a hybrid. You know why? Because you always felt alone.

The sleek and silent vampire dropped soundlessly down to the grass, literally not making one sound. As always. She studyed the boy before her and smelled he was a hybrid, obviously male. His eyes were covered and she was suddenly grateful for that. In less than half a second, she was kneeling beside him, staring at his face. Then she retreated slowly. "Hello" She greeted, tilting her head.

The sudden voice startled the kid, causing him to jump up, and face the way in which he had heard the voice. His hearing and sence of smell were highly advanced, and he pinpointed where the voice had gone. It smaller like a girl, or a woman, to be exact. As for her ability, He was unsure. The girl said a hello, and Alakai smiled a little. At least she wast going to attack him.

"Are you ... blind?" Alice asked uncertainly. She didn't want to offend the boy of course. "What powers do you have?" I dropped to the grass, lying on my tummy, facing the boy. "I'm a vampire ... i drink animals, not humans. Every once in a while ... there's an exception to my ... 'diet'"

Alakai tilted his head, and heard the soft sound of the person dropping to the ground. So he did the same. She told about how she was a vampire, and he wrinkled his nose, but then she said she only prayed apon animals. This girl had a lot of questions. "No, I'm not blind." Alakai answered, rolling onto his back again. She then asked about powers, and that took him a minuet to answer. "I'm an animal hybrid; so I have super hearing, and sent. Basically all my senses are super charged." He was going to tell her more about the other parts of his powers, but he held himself back.

"Vampires are the same. But they can run 1000 miles an hour, super strength, y'know" Alice shrugged her dainty shoulders, a charming little giggle escaping her dark lips. She wanted to know why the boy was wearing a blindfold and she frowned. No, she wouldn't pry. Silently, she stood up and soundlessly circled the tree, funning her long slim fingers along the rough bark. She came to a stop at the boy and smiled.

"A 1000 miles?" Alakai said with surprise. He didnt know much about vampires, but that sound really unbelievable. Suddenly, he couldn't sence where she was. It was like she had just disappeared. Alakai gritted his teeth together, and concentrated really hard, and heard the faint, practically undetectable soud of her circling the tree. She stopped right in front of me, and he knew a tree branch, strong enough to hold him, was right above head. In a smooth motion, he leaped up, and pulled himself up onto the branch, his back against the trunk, and his legs extended out onto the limb.

I bent down and then done a backflip, landing expertly on the branch Alakai was on. I stayed standing, balancing on one leg, reaching up to a higher branch and easily pulling myself up, without too loud a sound. I loved being a vampire ... but then again i didn't. "The name's Alice" I called down.

Alakai felt the shaking of the tree, and then the sound of the voice identifying its self as "Alice". He nodded, and call up up to her. "Alakai" She seemed nice enough, and He wondered why he was only just meeting her now. From what he could tell, she was pretty skilled in gymnastics, from the way she landed, and the way she did that backflip.

"Alakai" I whispered quietly to myself. I wondered why he couldn't see and decided to ask. "I know we just met ... but i'm curious, Alakai. Why do you wear a blindfold if you can see?"

Alakai smiled, and decided to tell her. He had never really shared this before, but if so done had to know it might as well be a total stranger, or a somewhat stranger. "You can't tell the directors, ok?" He said, concern filling his voice. They believed that they had wipped his mind, and they had, but they only altered his memory's about his fathers death. "I saw my dad get shot." I said bluntly.

My un-beating heart filled with sympathy for the poor boy. "But you can see?" I asked, jumping back to his branch and sitting before him. Maybe, if we got to know each other ... i could persuade him to take it off. "Alakai ... don't let it ruin your whole life" I said softly.

Alakai sensed the chemical change in Alice. It was one of his favorite parts of his ability, because he could predict how someone reacted, or if they are lieing. But he doesn't share that, because it either frightens, or drives away others. She asked if He could see again, and He nodded a yes. Then she told he shouldn't let it ruin my life. Alakai was going to say something along the lines of "I haven't" but then decided to hold it in, and just turned his head and frowned.

"What if you decide to marry? You can't tell what they look like. Or if some one as quiet as me snuck up to you with a knife ... you wouldn't know. Why don't you take it off?" I said quietly, staring at the blackness where his eyes should be. I wondered what colour his eyes were. Maybe deep brown, or a glowing green? Bright blue or pearl grey?

He had to hand it to her, she was persistent. He frowned again, and sences that she really wanted him to take it off. Fine. Alakai reached behind him, and started to undo the knot that he hadn't undun sence he put the blindfold on. It took a second, by he finally got it off. And then, he showed his steel blue eyes. He had to blink a little, because he wasn't used to using his eyes. After keeping it off for long enough for Alice to see, he put the blindfold back on, and explained. "I see better when I don't use my eyes."

His eyes were a beautiful blue. I wonder if he had seen me and suddenly felt self conscious. What did he think of me? "Alakai ... you should keep it off. In about an hour, you'd be used to it" I continued, not letting it go.

Alakai frowned, and decided that a further explanation was needed. "Why?" He asked, feeling that Alice wasn't going to just let it go. Alakai had worn the blindfold for almost 6 years, what would make him stop now? She said that he would be used to it in an hour, but Alice didn't completely understand. "Remember how I said my senses were super-charged?" He said, leaning in. "I see like putting on 3-D glasses, and wearing them everywhere."

"How many fingers am i holding up?" I lifted a slender hand and held up 2 fingers, waiting. "Life isn't the same without sight, Alakai. Don't curse yourself to be blind" I told him.

Gave a sly smile, and answered "2" without hesitation. "I told you you didn't understand." He smiled, then placed his hands behind his head, and leaned back. Alakai could see, without really seeing. All his other sences were strong enough to make up for his eyes.

"Your making a mistake. You may not realise now, but you will when your older. Then you'll hate yourself. Your cursing yourself, Alakai" I shook my head sadly. He really was. He would see soon ... eventually, he'd need his sight.

"Fine." Alakai said, not moving at all. He had no intentions of removing his blindfold permanently. It was far too painful to see with his eyes, because of all his other sences taking in the world, his brain gets overloaded with stimuli. Oh well. Alakai will prove himself in training. No one has ever given him a hard time about it. Alice was the first.

"Don't live in the dark" I said, swinging from the branch and doing several cartwheels to reach the ground. I landed lightly and lowered myself into a crouch. I took an un-needed breath and was suddenly in the air. I landed several branches up from Alakai, and with ease scampered up the trunk to the very top.

He followed her movements, and knew where she had landed. He took a second and pulled himself up with ease. He sat quietly on the same branch, but could hear a very quiet cracking coming from the branch. He dismissed it because, the branch he was sitting on before was also making cracking sounds. Alice told him not to live in the dark, and Alakai growled a little.

I sat facing away from Alakai. He had such choices and was choosing all wrong. Sighing, i dangled my legs off of the branch and wished i could find another vampire.

Alakai sighed, and frowned. What's the big deal? He though to himself. Alice was upset with him. "Look, if I find that I need my eyes, I'll take the blindfold off, ok?" Alakai said. The cracking he heard was getting louder. A snap peirced the air, and Alakai quickly grabbed the branch above him, and snagged Alice's jacket before she could fall.

I rolled my eyes and flicked off Alakai's hand, falling to the ground. I landed silently, without a jolt, on my feet. I glanced up, noted that the boy was alright and sat down under the tree. Immortality came with advantages.

Well then. Alakai growled, and leaped down, rolling to reduce Impact. He walked past the vampire, and put a hand up, his way of saying bye. "See you around." He called over his shoulder. It was kinda rude to leave the way he did, but hay? She wasn't exactly the kindest when Alakai tried to stop her from falling out if the tree.
